An Iftar with love at a Hindu home

The observation of Ramadan is an occasion of togetherness not only for the Muslim community in Kerala but for all. This Ramadan, the northern Malabar region of Kerala witnessed a unique Iftar – one hosted by a Hindu man and attended by people from different walks of life. Prabhakaran, an industrialist and a charity worker hailing from the small town of Valanchery in Malappuram district of Kerala, opened his house for an all-religion Iftar. He has been following this practice for the last 34 years.
