In this talk made as part of the series “Nehru’s Legacy Revisited“, Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member Jairam Ramesh highlights how Jawahar Lal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister, was a champion of scientific temper and how his academic learning of science boosted his advocacy of this theme. Jairam Ramesh also makes a comparative reference to Nehru’s sterling academic credentials with the questionable “Entire Political Science“ Degree of the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
