Mapping India’s Step Wells

This is the first episode of a new audiovisual Series in The AIDEM titled “Verse“. This series is part of a collaboration with ‘O’ , a Delhi based non-governmental organisation (NGO) striving to attain art and science equality. The series begins in an interview with Rashmi Ghosh, who has conducted widespread research on an art project titled “Mapping Stepwells: A Visual Narrative”.

Rashmi Ghosh is a Chartered Accountant by profession, transitioned from a successful career in finance to pursue her lifelong passion for visual arts, accumulating over two decades of experience in teaching. Her artistic endeavors have been showcased in over ten group exhibitions across India, an International Solo Show in Malaga, Spain, and the International Virtual Art Exhibition titled “Opening,” and “Resilience” curated by Sergio Gomez in Florida, USA.
