Allahabad Nagarik Samaj (ANS) is a collective of people from different strata of society, which seeks to highlight issues and concerns of the civil society in this historic town and surrounding areas. In the run-up to polling in the region, scheduled for May 25, the ANS has taken forward an awareness campaign highlighting the issues and concerns which the organisation perceives as central to this election.
In this interaction with Venkitesh Ramakrishnan, The AIDEM’s Managing Editor, key members of the ANS talk about their current campaign as well as the history of the organisation. Participants are Chittajit Mitra, Toshi Pandey, Mohammad Raza and Padma Singh.
