Rashmi Koti is the Managing Editor of ANDOLANA, a 52-year-old Kannada daily founded by the late Rajshekhar Koti, Rashmi’s father. A journalism graduate with a master’s in Kannada literature, she has been associated with the media since her college days.Rashmi took charge of Andolana in 2017, following her father’s passing. Under her leadership the editorial scope of Andolana expanded with pages dedicated to women, youth, farmers, health, education, and travel. Rashmi is especially known for promoting diverse voices in journalism, with a strong focus on encouraging female writers. The Andolana has editions in Mysore, Mandya, Kodagu, and Chamarajanagar.
