From childhood Jushna Shahin had a passionate emotional connect with Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi. Several factors, including Messi’s valiant struggles against crippling medical conditions, were at the root of this connect. The desire to meet and talk to Messi became a lifelong pursuit and Jushna pain stakingly studied Spanish and Sports Journalism through most of her youth. Now, as one of the youngest reporters covering the Qatar World Cup she sends dispatches to diverse media outlets spread across different continents in multiple languages including Spanish and English.
