Writer, Journalist and Columnist. 'Beena Kanda Russia', her first book was published 43 years ago, when she was still a teenager. Beena has authored over 30 children's novels including 'Ammakutty's World', Ammakutty's School and 'Rosum Koottukaarum'. Long journalistic career across multiple platforms including Kerala Kaumudi and Mathrubhumi publications. She was a News Editor at Doordarshan, Thiruvananthapuram and Akashavani. She has received many awards including the Laadli Media Award.
